The Central Michigan University women’s gymnastics team opens the 2018 season at home Saturday with a matinee versus Illinois State.
The dual meet is scheduled to start at 2 p.m. from McGuirk Arena.
The Chippewas were picked to win the Mid-American Conference regular-season and MAC championship titles in 2018 and they host the MAC Championships on March 24.
One season ago the Chippewas went 9-4 overall during the regular season and finished third in the MAC with a record of 3-3.
They also landed third at the conference championships and were sixth in NCAA regionals.
