The Central Michigan football team will take on Southeastern Conference power LSU in 2021.
The game, finalized last week, will be the first time the Chippewas have faced LSU, a three-time national champion (1958, 2003, 2007). LSU entered the 2011 national title game unbeaten, but lost to Alabama.
“The passion LSU fans have for football is special,” CMU Associate Vice President and Director of Athletics Michael Alford said. “This will be a special trip for our student-athletes, giving them a chance to compete in the heart of SEC country, in one of the finest environments in college football.
