The Mid-American Conference released its full league schedule Thursday, and the Chippewas have a fan-friendly slate of games. Consider:
— All six of CMU’s home games are on Saturdays. Central Michigan also plays five of its six home games in September and October.
— Western Michigan returns to Kelly/Shorts Stadium on Oct. 20. The classic rivalry drew a sell-out crowd at Kelly/Shorts Stadium in 2016, and the Chippewas claimed the Victory Cannon Trophy in 2017 with a dramatic come-from-behind 35-28 victory against the Broncos.
— A Big 12 team visits: Kansas serves as the first home game opponent in 2018 on Sept.
