MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Tinara Moore scored 23 points to lead the Central Michigan women’s basketball team as it fell short to Quinnipiac in McGuirk Arena on Thursday, 84-70.
It was the Chippewas’ final nonconference game of the season. CMU fell to 8-3 overall and look towards a tough road ahead as it opens Mid-American Conference play against undefeated Ball State (11-0) on the road on Dec. 30.
“It’s the last game of nonconference and we need to have a short memory,” said CMU coach Sue Guevara.
