MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. — The Central Michigan men’s and women’s cross country teams have been recognized by the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association for their efforts in the classroom.
The Team All-Academic honor for the 2016 season marks the sixth in a row for the Chippewa women’s team, and the fifth in a row for the men.
The women did not qualify for the award in 2010, but did so each year from 2004-2009. They have received the award in 12 of the past 13 seasons.
