CMU assistant coach Kristin Haynie to be inducted into Hall of Fame

When you look at Kristin Haynie’s career playing profile you cannot help but be a little awed.

Her career numbers as a prep basketball player at Mason High School are phenomenal, but her numbers and achievements as the point guard of the Michigan State University women’s basketball team jump off the screen.

For instance, this four-year starting point guard at Mason High School averaged 21.3 points, 7.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 6.1 steals as a senior. Haynie was named the Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of Michigan and finished runner-up for Miss Michigan Basketball in 2000.
