CMU alumnus spends summer umpiring LLWS regionals

Jordan Leslie, a 2017 Central Michigan University graduate, has found a way to give back to the game he loves.

Leslie spent last summer as a Little League umpire. He umpired regional matchups for the Midwest and Great Lakes regions in the 2017 Little League World Series in Indianapolis.

Leslie enjoyed playing baseball while growing up in Kalamazoo. He graduated from Comstock Park High School in 2013.

“I played growing up,” Leslie said." I knew there wasn’t a great chance of playing at the next level, but I wanted to stay close to the game.”

Leslie became one of the youngest people to umpire a Little League World Series matchup.
