Chippewas' win streak ends at Buffalo

Heading into Tuesday, the Central Michigan men’s basketball team had a chance to potentially move up to first place in the Mid-American Conference West Division.

The Chippewas traveled to Buffalo, New York to play the University of Buffalo — which lost each of its last two games in the final seconds.

CMU trailed by only two points at half time, but the Bulls (11-12, 4-5) controlled the tempo after the break and went on to defeat the Chippewas 101-91.

Head coach Keno Davis said he was happy with his team’s effort, but has told them they "need to be better to get where they want to be this season.
