ROCHESTER, Mich. - Madison Costner scored two goals including the winner in overtime on Sunday the Central Michigan women's soccer team defeated Oakland, 3-2, in a non-conference match at the Oakland Soccer Field.
It was the second win of the weekend for the Chippewas (2-1-1) who on Friday topped Robert Morris, 4-0, in their home opener.
"I'm really proud of the team's performance today," CMU coach Peter McGahey said, "I thought the response to the goals and timing was really positive throughout. We kept grinding.
