ANCHORAGE, Alaska – Shawn Roundtree scored 15 points to lead a balanced attack on Saturday as the Central Michigan men’s basketball won the Great Alaska Shootout with a 75-72 victory over Cal State Bakersfield.
Roundtree was named the tournament Most Outstanding Player as he led CMU to three wins over four days at Alaska Airlines Center.
The Chippewas (5-1) got 14 points from Luke Meyer, 13 from David DiLeo, and 12 from Cecil Williams. Roundtree had six assists, while DiLeo grabbed six rebounds.
