PORTAGE, Mich. – Jami Laude shot a Central Michigan 36-hole program record 149 on Monday to lead the Chippewa golf team on the opening day of the Western Michigan Kzoo Classic at The Moors Golf Club.
The Chippewas shot a 310 team total in Monday’s opening round, then followed with a 311 in the afternoon. Their 621 – the second-best 36-hole team total in program history -- is good for third place in the six-team event.
Bowling Green (601) is first, followed by the host Broncos (618).
