MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan softball players Allison Curtis and Rachael Knapp have earned individual weekly awards from the Mid-American Conference.
Curtis was named the MAC West Player of the Week, while Knapp earned the MAC West Pitcher of the Week honors. It marks the second consecutive week that Knapp has earned MAC West Pitcher of the Week honors and the third time this season.
Knapp, a senior from St. Joseph, recorded three wins and a save while posting a 2.10 earned run average over 20 innings in five appearances as the Chippewas completed a 10-1 Spring Break trip in Florida.
