WACO, Texas -- Over the last few seasons, the throwing events have been a major area of strength for the Central Michigan track & field program.

This weekend's Baylor Invitational was no different.

CMU seniors Dylan Banagis and Kylee Dobbelaere swept the hammer throws, and in dominant fashion.

Dobbelaere's winning throw of 179 feet, 10 inches, was 11 feet, 6 inches better than the second-place finisher, unattached Tricia Williams.

Banagis and teammate Logan Targgart finished 1-2, respectively, in the men's hammer with heaves of 202 feet, 3 inches, and 200-5, respectively.
