Chippewas Surge Late, But Can't Get The Equalizer In Loss to Furman

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan lacrosse team dropped its second Atlantic SUN game of the weekend, falling to Furman, 12-11, on Sunday at the CMU Lacrosse-Soccer Stadium.

The Chippewas are 4-7, 1-3 ASUN, while Furman is 6-4, 2-1. CMU will head to Florida next weekend, looking to bounce back as they play Stetson on Friday (7 p.m.) and Jacksonville on Sunday (noon).

“We know we have a long way to go and there’s still a lot of games to be played,” CMU coach Sara Tisdale said.
