YPSILANTI - Central Michigan’s women’s basketball team rolled to an easy Mid-American Conference victory Saturday as it blew past host Eastern Michigan 104-63 at the Convocation Center.
The Chippewas took a 20-13 lead at the end of one and put it out of reach at 47-23 by the half.
CMU improves to 16-6 overall and to 8-2 in MAC play via the victory while the Eagles fall to 6-16 overall and to 1-9 in MAC play.
Junior center Tinara Moore was a one-person wrecking crew in the contest as she recorded 27 points and had 13 rebounds, most of which came in the first half as head coach Sue Guevara emptied the bench in the second half.
