MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Jordan Bueter posted a season-high 30 kills as the Central Michigan volleyball team rallied from a two-set deficit to take a five-set victory over Indiana State in the opener of the Chippewa Invitational on Friday in McGuirk Arena.
The match was also CMU’s home-opener and it lifted the Chippewas to 6-1. CMU is scheduled to play Cleveland State at 7:30 p.m. Friday, and closes the tournament on Saturday (5 p.m.) against IUPUI.
Indiana State (1-7) swiped the first two sets, 29-27 and 25-18.
