TOLEDO, Ohio. — The Chippewas seemingly got what they wanted out of the Toledo Invitational.
The majority of the athletes from both CMU men’s and women’s teams stayed home for the weekend, but it was still an important outing from a confidence standpoint for those who travelled as the Chippewas look ahead to next weekend's Mid-American Conference Championships at Western Michigan.
Central Michigan got out to fast start on Thursday afternoon with Logan Targgart and Kevin Weiler taking first and second place, respectively, in the discus throw.
