Chippewas Hit The Road For Big SoCon Game

SETTING THE SCENE
For the first time since March 2, the Central Michigan lacrosse team is scheduled to hit the road, heading for South Carolina where the Chippewas will play Furman on Friday (6 p.m.) and Wofford on Sunday (noon). Both are Southern Conference games.

WHERE THEY STAND
CMU is 7-5, 2-0 SoCon after dominating Howard and Delaware State last weekend. The Chippewas outscored their opponents, 37-4, over the two games. Furman is 1-0 in league play. CMU and the Paladins are the lone unbeaten teams in the conference.

THE LEADERS
Anna Schoonover leads the Chippewas and is tied for third in the conference with 26 goals.
