Chippewas Fall To No. 4 Michigan

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan field hockey team dropped its final home game of the season in a rainy, nonconference matchup against No. 4 Michigan on Tuesday at the CMU Field Hockey Complex.

The Chippewas (0-17) are scheduled to play their final game of the season at Ball State on Friday (3 p.m.). The Cardinals are 4-11, 0-4 MAC.

“I thought we played very well against a No. 4 team in the country,” CMU coach Molly Pelowski said. “I was pleased with our effort and defense.
