Chippewas Fall To Michigan State

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Lily Amadio made 16 saves for the Central Michigan field hockey team on its way to a 3-0 loss against Michigan State on Tuesday at the CMU Field Hockey Complex.

The Chippewas (0-14) will play host to Kent State in Mid-American Conference matchup on Friday (3 p.m.). CMU is 0-3 in league play. The Golden Flashes are 5-9 overall, 2-1 MAC.

“It’s great playing a very physical opponent heading into another important MAC match against Kent State,” CMU coach Molly Pewloski said. “I’m pleased with some of the things that happened today.
