Chippewas Fall To Michigan

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. - Michigan collected 12 hits including five for extra bases and Central Michigan committed three errors on Tuesday as the Wolverines handed CMU a 9-2 nonconference baseball loss at Keilitz Field at Theunissen Stadium.

CMU (20-26-1) plays host to Cleary on Wednesday (4:05 p.m.) in another nonleague game and then opens a three-game Mid-American Conference series at Miami (Ohio) on Friday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Michigan broke a 1-1 tie with two runs in the second inning. Jordan Nwogu led off with a triple and scored on a Christian Bullock single.
