DeLAND, Fla. - Virginia Tech scored four runs in the sixth inning on Wednesday in handing Central Michigan a 7-4 loss in a nonconference baseball game at Melching Field.
CMU slipped to 2-10-1. The Chippewas are scheduled to begin at three-game series with South Florida on Friday in Tampa. The series, which concludes on Sunday, will wrap up the Chippewas' Spring Break trip.
