Chippewas Fall To Cincinnati, 15-4

MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich – Elaina Enich scored four goals Sunday in leading Cincinnati to a 15-4 nonconference women’s lacrosse victory over Central Michiganat the CMU Lacrosse-Soccer Stadium.

The Chippewas, who have lost three straight games, fell 1-4. The Bearcats improved to 2-4. Central Michigan will play host to Gardner-Webb (0-7) in a nonconference game on Tuesday (3 p.m.).

“It’s disappointing,” said CMU coach Sara Tisdale, whose team trailed, 7-1, at halftime and was down 13-1 at one point in the second half. “I felt like we weren’t ready to compete, we had about half the team with the stomach flu all week.
