ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Michigan scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to break a 3-3 tie on Wednesday and went on to post an 8-5 victory over Central Michigan in a nonconference baseball game at Ray Fisher Stadium.
The Chippewas, who slipped 7-17-1, go to Ball State for a Mid-American Conference series beginning on Friday (3 p.m.). CMU and Ball State are both 2-1 in league play.
