MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – A week ago, the Central Michigan football team struggled to gain its offensive footing against a good Toledo defense on a rainy day at Kelly/Shorts Stadium.
The Rockets undoubtedly played a significant role in limiting CMU’s ability to move the football. The rain was a factor too as CMU misfired on several occasions in its no-huddle spread offense in falling, 30-10, in a Mid-American Conference game.
The rain shouldn’t be a factor on Saturday when the Chippewas travel to Ball State for a MAC game at 3 p.
