ORLANDO, Fla. – Four Central Michigan pitchers surrendered a combined 19 hits including five home runs Friday as the Chippewa baseball team dropped a 21-1 decision to Central Florida in the opener of a three-game series at UCF Baseball Park.
The series concludes on Saturday with a doubleheader beginning at 2:30 p.m. The teams had been scheduled to play a single game on Saturday and the series finale on Sunday, but will instead play two on Saturday because of Sunday’s weather forecast.
The Chippewas (5-8) scored their lone run on Friday in the top of the first inning.
