MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Meghan Segreti scored five goals and Eva Thorn had three on Friday as Mercer handed Central Michigan a 15-8 loss in the Chippewas’ Atlantic Sun women’s lacrosse opener at the CMU Lacrosse-Soccer Stadium.
The Chippewas (3-5) play host to Kennesaw State (5-2) on Sunday (noon) in an ASUN game. Kennesaw State defeated Detroit Mercy, 21-12, on Friday in its ASUN opener. The Owls have won five consecutive games.
Jocelyne Lemay scored five goals to lead the Chippewas on Friday, while Tyra Prince, Shannon Doyle and Riley Huda scored one each.
