MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan volleyball team dropped a three-set Mid-American Conference decision to Kent State on Saturday at McGuirk Arena.

The Chippewas slipped to 10-8, 2-4 MAC, while the Golden Flashes improved to 4-13, 2-4. CMU will look to bounce back as it travels to Miami (Ohio) on Friday (7 p.m.).

“The best teams in this conference are consistent,” CMU coach Mike Gawlik said. “They are consistent with their offense and defense. I think our good is very good. When we’re playing on all cylinders, we can beat any team in this conference.
