ANN ARBOR - Coming off of a 60-point home win over Siena Heights on Friday, the Central Michigan Chippewas felt more than confident going into Ann Arbor to face off against the Michigan Wolverines at the Crisler Center on Monday night.
After controlling most of the first half, and keeping pace for a lot of the second half, the Chippewas ran out of gas at the end though and were defeated 72-65.
“It was a great test for us,” Central Michigan head coach Keno Davis said. “They’re a very talented team. We knew we had more than an uphill battle ahead of us.
