MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- The Central Michigan volleyball team ended its first week of practice with high intensity. The team returns two-time all-league performer Jordan Bueter and five starters from last season.
Second-year coach Mike Gawlik said that the Chippewas have been focusing on the building blocks for the program during the first week of preseason.
“I think week one for most teams is a refresher on the fundamentals,” Gawlik said. “You try to talk about some of your schemes and some of the things that your program builds itself on.
