• The Central Michigan softball team will play five games in three days at the third annual EMU Madiera Beach Invitational.
• The invitational, hosted by Eastern Michigan, features 13 NCAA Division I teams playing 33 games on three fields.
• CMU opens on Friday at 9 a.m. against North Dakota, and is scheduled to play Quinnipiac at 11:30 a.m. On Saturday, the Chippewas are slated to play Robert Morris at 9 a.m. and Massachusetts at 2 p.m. CMU closes the event on Sunday at 9 a.
