MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – John Bonamego unveiled his 2017 recruiting class on Wednesday, and it was everything he and his staff imagined.
“We wanted to get bigger, faster and stronger with this class, and we did,” said Bonamego on Wednesday morning as the binding national letters of intent arrived. “Twenty-two of our signees were team captains and 20 of them were multi-sport athletes. It’s good to see kids coming here who are leaders, and who also have had success in a wide range of athletic endeavors.
“It’s a very strong class overall.
