Chippewa Men Stop In Kansas City

The Central Michigan men’s basketball team plays its final road nonconference game of the season on Tuesday (8 pm.) at Missouri-Kansas City.

WHERE THEY STAND
The Chippewas are 8-2 after their win streak ended at seven games on Saturday with an 86-80 loss at Southern Utah. Southern Utah’s 86 points was a season high for a CMU opponent.

AMONG THE BEST
Despite surrendering 86 points, the Chippewas remain among the top defensive teams in the nation. They are allowing 63.9 points per game, which ranks 34th among the 351 teams in Division I.
