LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Central Michigan cross country teams were up to a challenge against some impressive competition at the Greater Louisville Classic as both Chippewa men’s and women’s teams came away with valuable experience and greater confidence.
Freshman Logan Kleam placed 54th to lead CMU to an 18th-place finish in the 30-team men’s field. He finished the 8K race in a personal best 24 minutes, 38.31 seconds.
“Logan brings front player power for us,” men’s coach Matt Kaczor said. “He’s going to be one of those guys who will be fighting for first team all-conference.
