MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Following a 5-0 loss on senior day against Appalachian State at home on Sunday, the Central Michigan field hockey team looks to finish strong as they near the end of the season.
The Chippewas are 0-13 and, after Saturday’s 2-0 loss to the Mountaineers – Saturday’s game counted in the Mid-American Conference standings; Sunday’s did not – 0-3 in league play.
CMU will entertain Michigan State (6-7) in a nonconference matchup on Tuesday (4 p.m.) and Kent State (5-9, 2-1 MAC) on Friday (3 p.
