MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Central Michigan baseball coach Steve Jaksa announced that six players have committed to play for the Chippewas, bringing to 12 the number of signees in Jaksa’s class of 2017.
Among the most recent six signees are three left-handed pitchers, Tyler Brown of Spring, Texas; Brandon Reed of Millington; and Coan McAlpine of Hickory, N.C.
The other three are right-handed hitting outfielders Gáoshua Williams of Chicago and Jacob Crum of St. Johns and infielder Chase Patterson of Libertyville, Ill.
