Central Michigan senior safety Kavon Frazier had his NFL dream come true Saturday afternoon as he was drafted by the Dallas Cowboys in the sixth round with the 212th pick of the NFL Draft.
Frazier, out of Grand Rapids Christian, was a second team All-Mid-American Conference performer for the Chippewas in 2015. He led CMU and was ninth in the conference with 103 tackles, with his 74 unassisted tackles ranking second in the conference. Additionally, Frazier broke up four passes and forced two fumbles.
Known as a big hitter and strong against the run, Frazier became a leader for the Central Michigan defense as it shifted to a 4-3-4 base defense in 2015 under the direction of defensive coordinator Greg Colby.
