Dalton Sutherland started the season with one goal — win a championship with the Central Michigan Division III hockey team.
Now, the Chippewas are riding an 11-game winning streak.
Sutherland's preseason goal is now in reach.
The Chippewas rank No. 2 in the American Collegiate Hockey Association North Division with 21 wins. Central Michigan only trails Michigan State, who has a 14-3 record.
According to the latest ACHA rankings on Dec. 20, CMU is followed by Grand Valley State, Adrian and Hope.
