MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. -- Central Michigan senior volleyball player Jordan Bueter has been named the Mid-American Conference West Division Offensive Player of the Week.
Bueter, an outside hitter from South Bend, Ind., registered 52 kills en route to earning the tournament Most Valuable Player Award in the George Mason Invitational.
Bueter led the Chippewas to a 2-1 finish in the tournament. She posted 14 kills on 43 attempts in a 3-1 loss to Penn in CMU’s tournament opener, then recorded 15 kills on a .361 hitting percentage with three aces in a 3-0 sweep of Campbell.
