Bowling Green finished with a 2-10 (2-6, Mid-American Conference) record in 2017.
The last time the Falcons took on CMU was Oct. 30, 2010. The Chippewas lost the game at Kelly/Shorts Stadium, 17-14.
Led by coach Carl Pelini, Bowling Green is 1-8 (0-5 MAC) in the 2018 season, losing to Oregon, Maryland, Miami (Ohio), Georgia Tech, Toledo, Western Michigan, Ohio and Kent State.
