Baseball to take on Oakland away, Toledo at home

Coming off a three-game series loss against top-ranked Kent State, the Central Michigan baseball team has four games in five days to get back on track.

The Chippewas (10-20-1) play Oakland University (7-19) at 3 p.m. April 11 at Oakland Baseball Field. Then, CMU returns to Theunissen Stadium for a three-game series from April 13-15 against Toledo (9-18).

“We will be fine against anybody as long as we play the way we are supposed to play,” said CMU head coach Steve Jaksa. “It’s not about what they do against us, it’s about we prepare against them.”

With junior right-hander Dazon Cole sidelined with a back injury, Jaska will use sophomore left-handed pitcher Tyler Hankins (1-4, 5.
