MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Today’s Central Michigan-Kent State baseball game scheduled for Theunissen Stadium has been postponed.
The Chippewas and Golden Flashes are scheduled to open the series on Saturday at Theunissen at 2:05 p.m. Prior to the game, beginning at approximately 1:45 p.m., a ceremony is scheduled to officially retire the uniform numbers of legends Dean Kreiner and Dave Keilitz. The pair will throw out the ceremonial first pitch.
In addition, the field will be named Keilitz Field at Theunissen Stadium in honor of the Keilitz family.
A makeup date for today’s postponement has not been officially set.
