MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – The Central Michigan baseball program’s annual Meet the Chippewas is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 13, at Hunter’s Ale House.
The guest speaker is former All-American Ralph Darin, who was inducted into the Central Michigan University Marcy Weston Athletics Hall of Fame in 2008.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity, and I’m very thankful for it,” said Darin, who earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees from CMU and went on to a career as a teacher, coach and an administrator with the Yale Public Schools. “Central’s got a tremendous baseball tradition and I’m happy to be a part of that and to speak to the athletes.
