MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – As is typical of a Spring Break trip, there were some highs and some lows, some good and some bad, and plenty to gnaw on.
Now it’s time for the Central Michigan baseball team to get down to business in the two-week run-up to the Mid-American Conference opener.
The Chippewas are scheduled to play Marygrove in a nonconference game on Thursday (3:05 p.m.) at Theunissen Stadium in their home opener. CMU is slated to go to Northwestern over the weekend for a four-game set.
The Chippewas are 5-10 after going 2-6 on their trip to Florida.
