According to a report from USA Today, the NCAA is expected to give out a one-time reimbursement payment to every Division I university’s athletic department to help aid their student athletes.
Central Michigan University’s Athletics Department is expected to receive $679, 828 to go toward student-athletes’ academics and welfare initiatives.
The Board of Governors approved the distribution as well as the NCAA Division I Board of Directors. The money is expected to be distributed April 19.
The payment is a part of a $200 million supplement distribution the NCAA is giving to every Division I school.
