MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Three Central Michigan Chippewas were selected on Wednesday, the final day of the Major League Baseball Draft.
Michael Brettell went in the 15th round to the St. Louis Cardinals, Dazon Cole was taken in the 25th round by the Los Angeles Angels, and Daniel Robinson was taken by the L.A. Dodgers in the 29th round.
All three are juniors with one year of collegiate eligibility remaining should they chose to return to school.
Brettell, a right-handed pitcher from Fonthill, Ont.
