The final week of the regular season is here.
To date the 19th-ranked Central Michigan University wrestling team has had a fine 2015-16 season as it enters the week with an overall record of 9-5 and a Mid-American Conference mark of 5-2.
The Chippewas close the home portion of the docket at 7 p.m. Thursday night when they host Wisconsin (3-7) at 7 p.m. from McGuirk Arena. From there they travel to Norfolk, Va., for a 2 p.m. Sunday dual against conference foe Old Dominion (5-12, 0-6).
On paper the Chippewas will likely finish third in the MAC regular-season standings behind sixth-ranked Missouri and 17th-ranked Kent State.
