The time has come to get it on.

On Friday night from McGuirk Arena the 17th-ranked Central Michigan University wrestling team officially opens the dual meet portion of its 2017-18 season when it host Michigan State University for a 7 p.m. non-conference dual.

Both teams have competed in a pair of non-team scoring open tournaments to open the slate and both have showed well. Yet, Friday’s dual kind of unofficially opens the slate and a big weekend for the hosts.

“We’re going to find out a lot about our team this weekend,” said CMU wrestling coach Tom Borrelli, whose entering his 27th season at the helm.
