The 16th-ranked Central Michigan University wrestling team notched a huge Mid-American Conference victory Sunday as it bounced 21st-ranked Ohio 16-15 on criteria from McGuirk Arena.
The Chippewas improve to 5-1 overall in dual meets via the victory and more importantly are now 2-0 in MAC action. The Bobcats fall to 5-2 overall and to 1-2 in MAC action.
On Saturday CMU fell to Oregon State 26-9.
Both teams won five bouts on the day and the dual ended in a 15-15 tie. CMU won the meet on criteria as it outscored Ohio 39-36 in total points scored.
