MOUNT PLEASANT, Mich. – Twelve Central Michigan student-athletes were named a Distinguished Scholar Athlete today by the Mid-American Conference.
CMU golfer Natalie Johnson earned the honor for the third consecutive year. Johnson, a senior from Nashville, Ill., is a biomedical sciences major who carries a 3.85 grade point average.
Five other Chippewas were named a MAC Distinguished Scholar for the second consecutive year. They are Luke Anderson and Logan Targgart of men’s track and field, Rebekah Petty of women’s track & field, and Maison Kalina and Rachel Vieira of softball.
